Position overview:

Eurasia Group is an independent research and consulting firm specializing in global political risk analysis with offices in New York, Washington DC, London, Tokyo, and Sao Paulo. We are seeking a skilled, part-time editor to join our team, to be based in Brazil, preferably the firm’s Sao Paulo office. 

You will work on a range of English-language products produced by the firm’s fast-growing Brazil practice. These will include memos and presentations, daily research notes, monthly briefs, and in-depth risk analyses.


  • Native English speaker
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Significant editorial experience
  • Knowledge of international relations and politics and experience editing non-native English speakers
  • Ability to work independently and in close concert with researchers, business line managers, designers, and other editors, as well as demonstrated experience meeting deadlines
  • Experience working for either news wires or newspapers
  • Ability to play a proactive role in structuring and critiquing products when necessary
  • Applicants should already be in Brazil with legal permission to work there
